Hertfordshire County Qualification Times 2018
J1/J2 Fridays at the Furzefield - Training Times error on website
Please note that there was an error on the training times for J1 and J2 on Fridays at the FF. This has now been corrected.
On a Friday J1 Swim earlier (6.15 to 7.15) and J2 Swim later (7.15 to 8.15). J2 need to Swim at the same time as the Learn to Swim group.
My apologies for the confusion.

During the evening our Peanuts swimmers will be recognised with individual awards so please make every effort to come along and celebrate the achievements of the youngest swimmers in the club. Everyone is welcome so bring along your chairs, picnic rugs and have a fun night!
Volunteers, as well as suitable prizes for the raffle, are required to help make the evening a success. If you can help in any way please see Anita Shipman.

Furzefield - Update
Please note that the Furzefield are working hard to resolve the challenges with the pool temperature and the water quality. They are having to manually stabilise the temperature due to the failure of the automatic systems, and this is not easy. They are working with their service suppliers to determine costs and timelines for a full repair, and will advise accordingly.
The pool vac has been repaired, and the water quality has improved a lot. The lane ropes have also been repaired, and they will fix the 33m ones ready for when the boom is repaired at the end of the year.
I really appreciate everyone's patience during this period which has obviously created very frustrating training conditions. It hasn't been very pleasant in the pool lately, but this last week has seen stable temperatures, perfect for training in.
Please could I ask that all questions / complaints regarding conditions at the pool are sent through me to avoid the FF from getting mixed messages, and I will coordinate communications to them.
